1901 Census - Residents of a house 6 in Cattogs (Comber, Down)

 

Cattogs c1850 - Grandfather always said Grandma was a country girl from the "Flow Dam"
The road heading up is the A22 road to Comber

 

Grandma Sarah,Agnes Beattie (Nee; Murphy). She was an excellent dressmaker and made me my 1st. Beatle Jacket and later my multicoloured flower suit,.  Ohhh...!!!    San Francisco and Radio Caroline.	Grandma and I in the garden at 21 William Street.
Uncle Wilbur on a visit from his home in Manchester	My Father Blakley on a visit from his home in Carlisle
Ward Park in Bangor to see the "Big Gun"	Something i have got to research, no one mentioned that Grandma worked as a nurse.  here she sits with Wilbur on one of his visits on leave from the RAF.
