Hello, my name is Andrew McFarlane and #10 Ian
McFarlane is my dad, #16 Joan McFarlane is my aunt. They lived at 32 Balfour Street
(I think).
I was hoping you could help me. My father Ian passed away in 1980 when I was 10.
I don’t know much about my dad, my mom Lenore McFarlane nee Cunningham from
Belfast didn’t talk much about my dad or his family.
Could you tell me the year this photo was taken?
Could you put me in touch with Dennis Rose or Dennis Hollinger, please? I’d
like to see if they have any more pictures of my dad or the area.
One other point, I see a name was corrected by Jean Hagen nee Crockard. My
dad’s friend growing up was a Davey Crockard. Would Jean Hagen be his sister?
And pics #1 and #2 were of John and David Harvey. I know my Dad’s mother’s
maiden name was Harvey. Were these 2 Harvey boys my Dad’s cousins?
I don’t think you’d be able to answer these questions, but could you please put
see if I could contact Dennis Rose and Dennis Hollinger?
