The Unionist Party were having a large demonstration at Balmoral in April 1912 and special
trains had been laid on to take supporters from Newtownards to Belfast. The Local Unionist
Party voted that Mr. David O'Prey should have the duty of selling the tickets at 1/-
shilling each from his shop on High Street
