Browns of High Street
and beside George Nicholls with a Vespa in the window. George had recently moved from a
small shop beside the Queens Hall which was then taken over by the daughter or daughter in
law of one of the Cafollas. Again i must thank James McCorriston for pointing that out.

I remember Glasgows
as the most amazing shop. It had a system of moving money around the store using piping
and compressed air,... incredible. Also their toy department was always fully stocked. |
