I have obtained a few additional details viz. - George was the son of James Jamison a milliner of Conway Square, George had gone to America where he worked hard and became Sub-Editor of the "Burlington Daily and Weekly Hawk Eye" in Iowa. Reported in the Chronicle in September 1873

David the butcher went on to become my Grandfather through marriage when his grandaughter Jeannie married my father Robert Blakley Beattie of William Street
David and his new wife Elizabeth "Lizzie" Barclay c1913 set up home at the "Devils Elbow" lower Greenwell Street before moving to the opposite end nicknamed "Clabber Row", their house sat to the left of the junction of the Old Portaferry Road and the Bowtown Road.

All the people you have mentioned I knew them very well, David "Jamison" was a car mechanic, he worked for McGimpseys garage in Frances St, Jimmy "Jamison" was always looking for rabbits for the ferrets. I worked with John McKimm in Webbs,the family lived opposite my mother in Georges St.   David. Feb. 2013
